Above Ground Pool Aquarian Steel Frame Round 18 ft Fuzion Gray

Description

Product Overview

Designed for homeowners who want a spacious, low‑maintenance swimming experience, the Aquarian 18‑foot round above‑ground pool delivers a generous 17,205‑gallon capacity within a compact footprint of 216 × 216 × 52 inches. The round shape maximizes usable water area while the 52‑inch height provides ample depth for both leisurely floating and active swimming. Constructed from high‑grade alloy steel and reinforced with corrosion‑resistant galvanized walls, the pool maintains structural integrity even after repeated seasonal exposure. The sleek gray finish blends seamlessly with most backyard aesthetics, making it an attractive centerpiece for summer gatherings.

The frame combines 8‑inch resin top rails with 6‑inch steel vertical posts, creating a sturdy skeleton that resists warping and rust. Each component is precision‑engineered to fit together using two‑piece injection‑molded high‑impact resin connectors, allowing a single person to complete assembly with a basic screwdriver in a few hours. Aquarian backs the steel framework with a 20‑year limited warranty, underscoring confidence in material quality and long‑term durability. This combination of robust construction and warranty protection ensures the pool will serve families for many summers without compromising safety or performance.

With overall dimensions of 216 × 216 × 52 inches, the pool fits comfortably in most medium‑sized backyards, patios, or even large deck areas. The package arrives in a 60 × 48 × 30‑inch box weighing approximately 309 pounds, which is manageable for two adults to unload using a hand truck or dolly. All necessary frame components, including the resin top rails, steel posts, and connector hardware, are included; however, the liner, skimmer, ladder, and pump are sold separately, giving you flexibility to select accessories that match your water‑care preferences. Proper site preparation—level ground, clear of debris, and adequate space for a surrounding fence—will streamline the installation process and enhance long‑term stability.

Safety is a priority with the Aquarian pool. The galvanized steel walls are designed to be smooth and free of sharp edges, reducing the risk of cuts or abrasions during entry and exit. The pool’s round shape promotes even water circulation, which, when paired with a compatible filtration system, helps maintain clear water and reduces the growth of algae. Although the pool does not include a liner, the optional liner can be selected to provide a comfortable surface and additional insulation, extending the usable swimming season in cooler climates. Always follow the manufacturer’s guidelines for chemical balance and never use bleach or non‑pool‑specific cleaners to protect the integrity of the steel and resin components.

Because the pool is sold as a pool‑only package, you have the freedom to customize your setup with a range of compatible accessories. Choose a high‑quality liner that fits the 18‑foot diameter, add a robust pump and filter system for continuous water turnover, and select a sturdy ladder or steps for safe access. For families with children, a safety cover can be added to prevent accidental entry when the pool is not in use. Aquarian also offers optional skimmer kits that improve debris removal, ensuring a cleaner swimming environment with minimal maintenance effort.

Usage

The Aquarian 18‑foot round pool transforms a sunny backyard into a private oasis, perfect for families with children, fitness enthusiasts, or anyone seeking a convenient way to cool off during hot summer days. Its generous water volume accommodates multiple swimmers, allowing parents to supervise kids while they splash, and providing enough space for water‑based exercises such as aqua jogging or low‑impact aerobics. The pool’s sturdy frame can withstand the energetic play of active children, while the smooth resin rails offer a comfortable handhold for adults entering or exiting the water.

Beyond everyday recreation, the pool serves as an ideal venue for social gatherings, birthday parties, and neighborhood barbecues. The round design encourages conversation, and the ample surface area makes it easy to set up floating games, inflatable toys, or even a small poolside bar. When paired with appropriate lighting and waterproof speakers, the pool can become a centerpiece for evening events, extending its usability well into twilight hours. Its modular nature also allows owners to relocate the pool to a different spot in the yard, should landscaping changes or seasonal preferences arise.

While the pool is designed for warm‑weather enjoyment, it can also be used in milder climates with the addition of a thermal liner and a cover that retains heat. In regions that experience occasional cool nights, a pool heater compatible with the chosen pump system can maintain a comfortable water temperature, extending the swimming season into early spring or late fall. However, it is essential to drain and store the pool according to the manufacturer’s recommendations if prolonged freezing temperatures are expected, to prevent damage to the steel frame and resin components.

Why Choose Us

Choosing the Aquarian steel‑frame pool means investing in a product built for longevity. The combination of alloy steel and high‑impact resin delivers a rust‑resistant structure that outlasts typical inflatable or soft‑side alternatives, while the 20‑year limited warranty on the frame provides peace of mind that the manufacturer stands behind its craftsmanship. This durability translates into lower long‑term costs, as the pool requires fewer replacements and less frequent repairs compared with lower‑quality competitors.

Assembly is straightforward thanks to the intuitive connector system and clearly labeled parts. The included instruction manual walks you through each step, from laying out the base to securing the vertical posts and attaching the top rails. Most users report completing the frame within two to three hours, even without prior construction experience. FAQ

How long does it take to assemble the pool frame?

Most users can complete the frame assembly in two to three hours using the included screwdriver and step‑by‑step guide. The process involves laying out the base, inserting the steel vertical posts, attaching the 8‑inch resin top rails, and securing all connections with the snap‑fit resin connectors.

What maintenance is required to keep the water clean?

Regular water testing and balanced pool chemicals are essential. Use a compatible pump and filter system to circulate water at least once every few hours, skim debris daily, and clean the filter according to the manufacturer’s schedule. Avoid bleach or non‑pool cleaners, as they can damage the steel and resin components.

Can I add a liner and pump later?

Yes. The pool is sold as a frame‑only package, allowing you to select a liner that matches the 18‑foot diameter and a pump that fits your desired flow rate. Adding a liner provides a comfortable surface and helps retain heat, while a pump and filter maintain water clarity.

Is the pool suitable for use in cooler climates?

With a thermal liner, a pool cover, and an optional heater compatible with your pump, the pool can be used in milder climates during early spring or late fall. In regions with freezing temperatures, it is recommended to drain, clean, and store the pool according to the manufacturer’s guidelines to prevent damage.
